hey guys and gals,
ive got a 03 clio 1.2 16v.... it seems to strugle when ticking over and sometimes cuts out(the shop said its ok blah blah) it ticks over at about 5000revs, ist that ok? any advice would be great...
one more thing, im after a better sound but dont want a sport back box, maby a filter or induction kit?

thanks for that mate but its all old clio's, i know a few ppl have clios on here.
ive had 4 corsa's so m not jus using this website for nout.
any advice?

Throttle bodies are bad for fuckin up on them. Take it back to a renault dealer and ask if them to check if theres any recalls on the car. If there is then it will get done for nothing.. Anyway if its an 03 plate it will still be under warranty so why are u bothered, just book it in.

i did but they said it fine? what am i to do......they say loads of shit and i dont have a clue about cars...

Take it back and ask them to check it on the clip machine. If its got a fault with tickover or that it will show up on there... All faults are stored in the memory...
Or just take it to a different renault dealer and ask them to have a look..
Most likely to be a sensor or the throttle body though...

Aye if its under warranty then theres no reason why they shouldnt... Used to work on them, always got faults like that... Will be something simple, either way it wont cost u anything...
