Are these inlets? Are they anygood? What gains can you expect to get from one? Where can you get them? How much do they cost?

mantzel r no more. ive been lookin in2 a dbilas inlet but its prob beta in the long run 2 spend the lil extra n get TB's

i think there is a turbo conversion that Dbilas do, its £3200 fitted and u will get a rather pokey 210bhp i think

and just round the road form me, regal is in southmapton mate 20 mins up the m27 for you.

If you have a C16XE then you need the lower half of the inlet manifold from a X16XE just buy it you self

oh. so regal are trying to scam me out of nearly £300 for a lower X16XE inlet. ill jus get one from the scrappy for a few quid and block off the EGR port

there are a few differant inlets that regal make if you check on the website you will notice that some have individual throttle bodys on each cylinder port. the more expensive ones give about 30bhp gains whereas the cheaper ones give 21bhp or something like that

I think thats what Lee will do with mine, lower X16XE manifold and the upper part is C16XE. Its ghey.

what is the differance between the lower manifolds on the two engines apart from the obvious (plastic, and EGR)

Yep, it's a throttle body kit, all 4 throttle bodies are connected to a pipe which curves around the standard induction route, has the motronic air mass meter attatched to it, then an induction kit.... The power gains aren't exactly great for the £1500 it costs. I think you can even use it with an air box....
