Could do with finding this out as I'd like to order my springs end of the week..

Hmm i'm guessing that down 60mm i'd be catching the herefordshire speed humps a lot

40mm would be much better as it wont encourage skipping when cornering hard. The urban myth that lower euals better handling is crap. A nice 40mm drop is sufficient.

Depends what you would prefer, handling or looks. Lots of backroads where I stay, handles fine through the corners only time I have bother is on heavy braking it jumps around a fair bit. You get used to it though, would much rather have it low than wasting money lowering 40mm...

I do like the look of corsa's lowerd by 60mm, but I dont really want to break my back by having a really stiff ride
Will probs go the 40mm route if its the best handling

Cheers guys

i've had 60mm with 15's on a 195/45/15 looks good and wont rub:

but i prefer 60mm with 16's and a 195/40/16 tire, same rolling radius as my 15's with a 45 tire but the speedlines look better:

orite dude i thought it was you, either that or someone putting loads of pics of your car all over the site!?

60's the way to go for lowering, i've taken the rubber seat out the back springs to get it a bit lower too! dont know how much its helped.
the car handles ok, a bit stiff but its not much of a problem.
my brake compensator at the back is baked off almost to the end too so it behave's under heavy braking.
