can the centre vents in the dash be removed without takin the whole centre out with the heater knobs etc?? ive pulled the vents down like you do with the side ones, but i cant see how to get them out

get a screw driver on the inside where they pivit, and they will come out,

Get a flat head screwdriver under the top of the vent and force them to pivot downwards then get your fingers in the gap at the top and yank them out, won't snap anything.

theres no way they come out without snapping lol. i actually need to replace these vents as i cant afford to put a screen in their place yet

tilt them down further than they want to go(very hard). Then they should pull out towards you.

Tilt them down with a flat head screwdriver, if you cant yank them out with your hands put the screwdriver down the side and pivot the screwdriver to force the vents out, the plastic will bend a bit but wont break.
