I normally listen to more commercial hip hop/rap (Eminem, 50 cent etc) but one of my mates had a Dj Format cd on the other day which was good. Mobb deep sound good from the 2 songs i've heard. Just looking to broaden my horizons along those lines

masta ace is amazing, "a long hot summer" is one of my fave albums atm. dilated peoples/defari defo worth a look. as is lootpack and quasimoto if you wanna try some weird shit! as for classics i agree look towards nas, mobb deep...

and of course big l. big ls group was called ditc (diggin in the crates) and features fat joe... the album is shit hot!

i have both cnn albums and pretty much anything off the first album kills it.

out of the adam f album id go for the mop track - stand clear
