currently have standard brakes on my gsi corsa (Apec pads)
was considering upgrading to cavalier gsi disks and pads, but unsure whether it is worth the money in the difference it would make. i heard gsi cav disks aren't much bigger than gsi corsa disks....
so, should i just upgrade the pads i have, and if so what pads do you recommend?
thanks

The disks are the same size just about, but the calipers are bigger and the disks are vented. My brakes came off of a Vectra I think, it had only done something like 30,000 miles and the brakes cost me £30. Was well worth it because the extra power is really nice. Though now I have got used to them I want even more brake power....

Thats the difference, though GSi's use wider disks than the ones pictured.

ed, GSi fronts are vented as standard.
OTG, the Cav GSi discs are 256x24mm, but with a more powerful caliper. GSi discs are 256x20mm, so you wont be able to use your current discs i dont think.
