If i want to find out which ip address a certain user is using what command do i use? Is it a 'netstat' command?

Start -> Run -> Cmd -> ipconfig /all
That'll give you all the info you need, and more......that is, assuming you have physical access to the computer this user is on (and you don't mean another internet-user).

IP config wont be any good as we dont know which machine to do it on! hence the point of finding out which ip this user is on.
Just need to find an ipaddress using the users domain logon?
