hi guys havent been on here for a while, been working abroad.
Me and my gf r now planning on going around the world backpacking, gonna buy a round the world ticket.
Has any1 on here done this?.

one of my mates has done this.. she went on the fairly usual trip.. OZ, newzealand, china, thailand, india, canada, usa, europe....
shes still away.. been gone for months now (must be around 4 months shes been gone)

yeah only for a bit its in my garage at home still, mate hasnt got room in his garage yet, need the money . sounds a bit like the trip we've got planned, do u no how much spending money shes taken.

LOADS.. cant remember how much, but was a silly amount..
a lot of the time she is camping out tho, so not much money for hotels/BnB's
needs money to get from place to place n all that

done the backpacking thing myself, and in all honesty, i wouldnt buy an around the world ticket, your limited to what you do etc.. just buy a ticket to somewhere, travel and do what u like for as long as u like, then decide where u wanna move on to then buy a ticket.. etc..

Got back at the end of april.
The rtw ticket were planning on getting u can change ur flight time to how long u wanna stay where u r, and u can re arrange where u go ie;stop of in another country ,but u can only go one way round the world
