Get the middle ones, you can always put the standard ones back on for the mot.

lmfao... they're not illegal they just won't always pass MOT, some garages as gary said are strict on the lighting rules whereas others are more relaxed.

and yes i have the middle ones, got them from rimstyle - top quality service even tho i thought they were RHD but it dont matter they looked so good i didnt care:
