paul you will be lovin the difference a tripod will make. especially in the darker shots where the camera needs to be steady to take a good snap
also good for long exposure shots too

yeah ive still had couple dodgy pcis but 8-9 out of 10 are so much better just need to get the shutter speeds etc sorted so the pics are nicer! as either too dark or too much light at moment, auto is crap and nite mode is just wrong, well most the time!

forget about shutter speed Paul. when it's on a tripod you don;t have to worry. take a pic then look at it. if it needs to be nrighter use expoure compensation to over/underexpose accordingly
