just a random question, when i start up and the choke comes in too play the engine starts to die down then go back up in other words power back up then all is normal ,  only does it now and again is it due to the engine being cold is this normal >??? or spark plugs need changing or anything checked engine is 1.2 8v corsa

It will be a coolent temp sensor if it's choking it too much... Nothing to worry about until it stops idling all together.

Would need a new sensor. Just check the plug and wiring too though before you change anything - the plug is on the thermostat I think on the 1.2 8v.
It only does this when the engine is cold right?

in mornings starting up but as u say thermo stat its all to pot on mfd it all ways has been heard its common fault , so this is too do with starting up on engine and warming up??
