me and a mate both have a 1.2 8v 5dr corsa. mine 1994 and his 1995. but mine is SWING and his is MERIT. whats the diff. between them? is it coz his has central lock and mine doesn't?? thanks guys

Over here Swing was a special edition, Merit was available as a standard brochure model.

Rob, on release, it was the Merit, LS, GLS, SRi, GSi. not sure about Malta though. Merit was base model, with next to nothing, but had some factory options IIRC

Swing was released in April 1994, a year after the afformentioned models.
