right my car is running like shite and me and a mate have narrowed it down to a few things 1 might be the fuel pump ...
we have had a look on my corsa and cant see the fuel pump off the astra gsi (where engine came from) so im assuming iv still got my 1.2 fuel pump in the tank ?
i had lee mitchell do the conversion im just not sure if he put it in maybe behind the inlet manifold?
anyway my car is spluttering all the time at 30- 40mph and then when i rev it a bit it starts to pick up again
surley if i still have my 1.2 pump in there its going to have trouble kepping up when i boot it ? if i find i still have the 1.2 pump and im told its ok i dont no if its giving the same preasure as a 2ltr one would im told there round the 20 mark?
what have youz lot done ? im thinking of buying a xe one if i still have the 1.2 one and disconecting it ... that is if its still doing it after next week when i get the valve stems and head gasket done..
i would just tex lee but im not a day walker hense the early post..
