Not read that one yet.

Astra VXR fails to perform again.

Gets 3.5 stars against the Megane with 4.5 and the Golf with 5.

OoOo so many coming out. I fancy a change from the corsa 1.8 next year and so far the VXR, Megane, Focus ST, Golf, New Civic Type-R and Leon Cupra R are all on the list. Well maybe cept for the Megane cos I'll never own a Renualt ever again....anyway I'd like to try them all and a little bit more info on each is always useful.

Motoring press are putting the Vaux down at every opportunity, why do they have something against it?

Review I read in a mag in Asda lastnight said it was better than the Megane and Golf, its down to personal preference but there is no way I would buy a French car or anything VAG after the horror stories I've heard and seen.

Yes, why anyone would but the VXR over the Golf is beyond me. They should at least be priced to reflect the differences in quality.

Because its £1000 cheaper, has no build quality issues, top quality materials are used and it is faster than the Golf.
