Any one got any tips on this. I kinda bend mine back a bit and i need to get it working again as at the moment i dont have 2 or 4 gear.

How far do i have to bend it? Any one got any tips as its fucking hard to bend? Or any pics of theirs done?

Heres mine at the moment, it looks like it needs another cm or so

yeh this bit you have bent there clips onto the m-tech linkage... i'd just go down the scrappy and find another one of the bit you have bent.. there the same on all the gearboxes iirc...

maybe it bent cos you have a bodged gear linkage? maybe getting the m-tech one might stop it from hapening again? just some idea's for you

that piece is not the piece that modifyed when doing a 2.0 conversion(or at least i dont think it is )

oooh, i think i get it. that part is wot hits it, but with the short shift it doesnt need to travel as far! genius.

hmmm. im gonna give it a bend tomo cos i need my car again. if it doesnt work ill drive around with 1,3 and 5 only and order the short shift

in youur top pic, see the bend just before the top knuckle. make that the same angle as the bottom bit. also, remove the grommit from the bulkhead where the linkage that is part of the car goes to if you know what i mean. thats if you aint using the gearbox spacer. worked on mine no bothers
