can you fit a chip yourself or do you need it rolling roaded or a mechanic to do it?
i want a chip and a re-map ( along with an inlet) but i would only want one trip to a rolling road as there quite far away.
if i get a chip and an inlet, id want them to get run in then get it re-mapped on a rolling road.
is superchips the best?

just seen you other post so know you have corsa GSi.
I superchip is a generic map for a standard car. Not all engines are the same so imo a superchip is a waste of time, u may gain a few bhp but you may go the other way and actually loose a few. best case scenario it might improve dirveability of the car.
you could consider a dastek unichip, which will be mapped on the rollers tailored to your engine and mods. Once the first map has been done, if you had further mods you can go back and have the map tweaked which wont cost as much as the original map.

your looking at at least 1k for inlet and fitting of a unichip if you fit the inlet yourself

unichip is a piggy back ECU. so they wire it in (better to get a harness so they dont hack your wiring up and u can remove easily at later date) and then do the mapping. So get your inlet fitted first and any other mods then go for chip and mapping.
