Glad your mostly all ok and sorry to hear it.
Had similar experience on the tulliallan road about 2 months ago just past the police college......... stopped behind a van turning to the right and a guy parked his audi a4 about 3 feet from the drivers seat and rammed the front into the vans trailer at about 50-60mph. Never felt the same driving since. Had only borrowed the mrs car for the day aswell, luckily i was the only 1 in it so i cant imagine how your feeling chief. Got out the passenger window with a burst lip and a few sprains and cuts, but the guys in the back of the van werent so lucky, no seats, no seatbelts and the tow bar went through the van doors.......workies all in hospital, my mrs ka half its origional size (minus the audi that was attached) and the audi driver had s.f.a wrong with him. A miracle nobody was killed to be honest and a real wake up call for me.
Dont take anything for granted on the roads and thank christ for seatbelts and airbags. Thats my message to everyone.
Take a while to recover m8 but you'll all be ok i hope. gws and all the best.

To true m8, never gonna change unfortunately.
On a lighter note though, we both got a good pay out from the dudes insurance and i persuaded the mrs to get a corsa. Couldnt afford an audi, things are built like tanks!
