Rite got my new car last nite, a 1.6 Rotrex Supercharged Corsa and today it randomly just cut out, after trying a few things we found out it was the fuse for the fuel injection.

Then changed it and wa-la it worked again, only for it to do it about 10 mins later. Had no problems with it last nite, and the guy b4 me never had problems!

Anyone think wot could be blowing them? There the correct fuses going in too! And its def not the battery or alternator or the starter motor as its firing up then just cutting out.

Thanks guys

hmmmm my old corsa done the sme thing.

was the fuse for the fuel pump etc.

look underneath car directly underneath where the back seats are looks for the wiring coming from the fuel pump.make sure it hasnt fallen down and is sitting on the exhaust.

see what happened with mine was the wiring fell down and sat on exhaust, with the exhaust being hot it eventually burnt the rubber casing of the wire through to the copper and then would cause high resistance and pop fuse.i just cut wire soldered, sealed it and hung wiring up properly

Its booked in for a full re spray, GSi bumper fitted and bad-boyed, bonnet smoothed out, and the back wiper out. Cant wait to get it back.

Just need to sort out the problem with the fuse blowing?

Is it just a hole or is there a plate where it should be?

Sounds like a fucked fuel pump imo drawing too much current.
