10 days is fine.
mine went in after two but hey

as long as you dont chuck in more than 5fish at max and add another less than a week you'll be fine.
ive worked with fish for over 3years and OATA approved

ive three tanks...

One 6ft with an 16" Black Piranha
One 5ft with an 9" Manuelli Piranha
One 5ft which Im waiting to cycle for a group of Piranhas!

Over the years I have had upto a 7ft tank and a number of other 5fters and kept a load of different Piranhas, they are really interesting fish!!

I would of thought so !

Im guessing piranhas need to be in a tank on their own ?

* put them in with the crabs, that would be funny

you could keep a small Serrasalmus type (slow growing, solitary piranha) on its own for a while, but would need a bigger tank soon enough.

It needs a decent filtration system, but aslong as you keep ontop of water changes and dont leave left over food in the tank you can survive with not the best filtration set-up.

Only certain types need to be on their own, some you can shoal with other Piranhas (pygocentrus types) and others are solitary (Serrasalmus types)

Check out Piranha-fury.com for a load more info + pics + vids of them ripping up their food!
