Hey guys. I brought an exhaust tip. Jokes aside, im saving up for a full system, but why i work my arse off i want the look. I put it on, and due to vauxhall making the exhaust pipe sort of at an angle it looks a bit wrong and the bolts on the tip can be seen. My plan is to cut about an inch off of the existing pipe so that the exhaust tip fits a bit more flush with the bodywork. Im hoping that this will not affect anything, including noise. Is this correct? An inch off the existing pipe will not affect much. And will the car still pass an MOT providing there is actually a tip on the end of the existing exhaust. Cheers for you help. Just figured i wud ask before sawwing it off

there are several reasons not to do this

1 - It looks shit
2 - its a waste of money
3 - it looks shit
4 - people will laugh at you
5 - it looks shit
6 - there is no point to it as IT LOOKS SHIT!

Call me slow but didnt understand the bringing and buying comment. Fair your opinion it looks shoot, but if its flush with the bumper it will look fine. I just want to know if it will make any major differences and fail an MOT

It will pass the MOT as long as it is secure and there is no major rusting.

Thats pretty much the only criteria with exhausts

Ah right cheers, thank you very much ally. I shall go make my car look shoot now Seriously it doesn't look that bad for a trim, and once its a bit more flush with the car it will look decent enough till i can afford my entire system.

it can't be too loud, but what you're thinking of doing won't affect it.
