As title says

Looking for a pre face lift corsa for around 1k but needs power steering.

which ones did? i know some sri's do, is there any more?

I go by the rule that if a the corsa has an airbag then it has Power Steering. My mate's mum's M reg GLS has PAS.

Most TD Corsa's have PAS.

my sport has a airbag but doesnt have power steering

I believe pre-facelift it was standard on CDX, GSi and GLS. Optional on all others including SRi, Sport, LS, special models etc etc. Not sure about Merit, may have not had an options box for PAS

my gf has a 1.2i 8v. this is an r-reg n doesnt have PAS

Wrong. I have an airbag and it hasent got PAS, its a N plate sport.

All auto Vauxhalls have power steering as standard, even on Merit models!
