Usually in the past i'd have just used a small length of speaker cable to go from my 6x9s to the standard VX wiring for the rear speakers....

But i'd rather have better quality now so is it worth wiring the speakers in the whole way to the HU with speaker cable rather than using the VX 1mm thin stuff

or will i not notice the difference so i shouldnt bother?

Also once i've got the cable through, how do i connect it?

better to rewire it, but 6x9s are never going to sound great. i think the purple + purple/black wires and the green + green/black at the back of the head unit feed the rear speakers mate.
