car wasnt sat for a while tho, was used every day when the problem started, then just ignored it till i got it back from having the engine done lol

The old S2000 ones didn't even get that bad after the pad disintigrated and made sparks off the dics

looks like heavy corrotion *sp* due to the disc being defect. I only say that as you said the pads were fine?

agree with ed dude, no need for grooved discs, GM stuff is good enough, nowt wrong with my brakes, only minor niggle is the amount of brake dust the GM pads kick out

there are better pads than gm, im using ferodo ds2500 now and iv heard nothing but good about them. regarding the discs, there were cheap........so cheap they were free....well i got them in return for some money i was owed

I had drilled and grooved on the front of my calibra
did exactly the same
its just corroision in the holes and grooves which over time just eats away under the surface

Get in touch with BD, show em the photos and ask for replacements as they're poop. Worth a try...
