you can do half days at track days... like morning session or afternoon.
When I went to donnington it was something like £93 for me and another driver! for the morning. something like 7am -> 2pm or something. Bargain. Tyres were fine.

I'd possibly say a experience / rally day could be good fun though.
The only problem with a track day is your car may not be perfect for track use. I found on standard 60 profile tyres the tyres folded under the wheel under hard cornering and caused big understeer.
Now my car is on 15's with 45 profiles I'm awaiting my next track day
Brake fluid also started boiling causing big brake fade. My ABS was also screwed when I went which caused wheels to lock up under hard braking.
Should be good to have another crack. May go out with the PGAC lot just for a single session at castle combe or something.

Sounds like a good deal, il phone about the brands track day on the 11th. Otherwise at £150, rally school sounds like a better deal, anything really to give me a taster is a start. Once again appreciate all your help!
