i defragmented my hard drive tonight and as it was doing it it showed which files it was moving around.
it gave loads of file names that i recognise that i thought i had deleted.
is there a way of getting the pc to list all of the files that are saved on it?

Start -> Run and type
dir \ /b /s >c:\list.txt
Fairly important you get the slashes and spaces right
Might take a while. When the black window closes go in to My Computer and C: drive and there will be a file called list.txt in there with all your file paths in.

You might want to delete your Temporary Internet Files first to speed it up a bit, still going here on 40gb of data.
The file it generates might be quite large as well. See how you get on.
