does the mtech short shift kit to suit a 2 litre work on an F28 as well. just about to buy one for ma let corsa (currently F20) but not worth it if it doesnt work tho!

anyone know?

ye am not sure. guy at lmf said it would but was lookin for someone who knows for sure.

No. The F20 / F28 quick shifts are different. Cross referencing part number reveals that quite quickly

so is there one available to suit a corsa (b) with a C20LET and F28?

The fitment is for the gearbox, not the engine or the car. I assume that as the F20 linkages dont fit the F28's and vice versa you only have one choice.

youi have to actually shorten a part of the linakge for the f28 and then re-weld it together, wheres for an f20 you dont

so as am going to have to shorten the bit on the linkage that ataches to the selector a kit for the 2.0 litre conversion will work then?

am confused now!!!!

mate put a shortshift on his f28 in a mk3 astra GSI hes having a bit of grief with it. cos u use half f28 linkage and half f20 for astra LET conversion... once hes sorted it out ill let u know what the score is!
