£220 for starter kit
£290 for a "deluxe" kit which includes wireless controller, headset for xbox live and a 20 or 80gb hard drive i can't remember
they've a world wide release date i think so don't be fooled into buying one before the official launch which is end of november i think (may have been put back to first week of december)
You'll need a HD TV to get the most out of it, although they are bringing out a VGA/DVi adaptor to use with a Monitor so you can run the true 360 resoultion which a standard TV won't be capable of

because of the resolutions the 360 is going to run at, i'm not sure on exact figures but i think a normal TV is only capable of 720x576 and HD TVs can run at a higher res (it's either that or the freq thats different) 1080 i think
It was a while ago i read the artical but it's all to do with resoultions etc.
