Lookin for a garage in the Wigan/Warrington/Leigh/Lowton area who can fit an engine for me anyone got any numbers or names of garages who are decent ?

i fitted it myself, what engine is it and what car is it going into? with out knowing what car/ engine it is, i'll have to estimate, it will take me a weekend to do, maybe a weekend and a day like the xe into my corsa

Engine is a c16xe and is goin in a 1994 16v sri with a x14xe

nar i cant do that mate, i can only do xe's into the corsa's. "customcorsa" on here has a mate who is a whizz with engines i think, ask him. i think its him anyway.

do you have the ECU for the 1600?


peice of piss to swap them, basicaly the same engine, just different internals. same engine mounts and same loom, just need to change the ECU, which plugs in.

i could do it, but i dont get my unit for another couple of weeks. i'm near Chorley, so not far from wigan.

oh, and you will also need the transponder chips that go with the ECU (which are in the keys)
