my sony autochanger has just stoped working there is no sound coming through it... cd is still playing and it is playing back to head unit and you can see it playing through songs.. but no sound .. tried phono cables its not them.. some one has told my one of the wires mite be broke inside the thick black lead?
any help would be great

The audio comes through the phono cables. If the screen on the headunit is showing tracks playing, and when you change tracks you should be able to hear goings on inside the changer. If you can hear stuff going on the big black cable is fine and its something else.
