does it matter what the original corsa was before the conversion i.e SRi, GSi, or just a base model like an LS or Merit
will a GSi with a 2.0 be more expensive than an SRi or Sport with the same engine
any1 not declared thier engine to the insurance / dvla?

So whats the best thing to do?
Fit the engine, change logbook then get a quote off the reg,
Or
Ring up and give the reg and say its been fitted with a redtop/gonna be fitted with a red top?
Just wanna know because i have a 1.4 sport and its bloody slow compared to my fez, have to gear down all the time and its at like 4000rpm in 5th doin 70, its silly.
Cheers.

get a quote before you do it, no point converting it then cant insure it is there.
i never bothered witha quote untill id built me turbo corsa, but im 25 clean liscece 11 million years no claims so it wasnt ever gonna be a lot

i reckon its cheaper if the car was originally a higher spec vehicle, like 1600 sport or gsi
