how long can i drive car for until i get this problem fixed? (need car for work, havent got time due to working sunday to fridays)
Had car for over a year now with the problem going on. Runs perfect, only thing is, it drinks engine oil like mad. now i have found the problem after going for a compression test. garage said problem is your valve stems but would cost £600.
Its a 1.6 16v R reg, done 77K miles

So it won't knacker them then. It wil reduce performance slightly due to the presence of oil vapour in the combustoin chamber, but not adverse affect engine ware.
Just top it up
