Xe time for my daily car, the engine was delivered saturday morning, just ordered Ecotec adapter, M-tech gearlinkage, oil pressure and temp gauges, and some cv joints... hopefully it won't snow this weekend then i can busy away at the roadside sorting it all out

I finally rolled my XE out of the barn where its been sitting for 10 months... under its own POWER!

I do!

Yeah 10 months... I blame this on many things, the biggest factors being I'm a lazy cunt and I have a Corsa C as a daily so wasnt so dependent on the car working

Got a decent battery that will turn the engine over?

gearbox working ok?

got a new clutch?

got all the extra coolant pipes you'll need?

Suspension ok with the extra weight?
got the loom for both cars ready to butcher?

got some wire to do an ignition live?

got your solidering kit ready?

Cant remember if theres anything else...

Nope, just trying to help. When you've spent 10 bloody months doing this off and on, you remember all the visits to vauxhall and why it took so long.

As well as being a lazy cunt, I had to go back and forth for lots of bits. Jublie clips was one of the biggest pains in the arse!

Oh dont forget oil for the gearbox and the engnie, and coolant. Maybe brake fluid too if you are taking them off.

and spare hoses! I kept going back to the 8v block and picking off bits, was great
