i think there are still a few hangin around the shop shelves but the core models arent really high demand.

Yeah Core's are still available at some places, but i'm really wanting the Premium so i'll wait til they come back in stock.

They have basically exactly the same processing power.
The xbox is much easier to develop for and get the most out of.
The ps3 cell processor is good at streaming media.
Nobody will know until 2007 most likley when decent games are out for both of them.
At the moment though none of them are significantly better than the other.
Especially since the ps3 isn't out.

Well my computer is more useful in so many different reasons and out weights the advantages of a xbox ten fold. Whats the point if at the end of the day it is a computer..

I'm not getting into an argument about it because I know what i'm talking about.
All I was saying is its is no longer just a pc.
Are you going to play hi def games with at least 2xAA on your laptop though?
I serioulsy doubt it.
Now how many people bought the xbox to act as a laptop
