you looking at creating dynamic database driven type sites? Or just swanky looky flash ones using flash animations and photoshop etc....

your best bet is to self teach yourself on adobe photoshop, then got to fwa.com and get influence from over websites. start off with trying to copy the site, just as practice. then you'll probably have some ideas by then. and create! lol

yeh, buy photoshop and dreamweaver from the 'special' store and have a go at it - best way to learn!
i found its good to have a book too as reading from websites and flicking between the net and dreamweaver and back again is annoying as hell.

This the technique we used in ICT at school, I think self teaching is the best form or learning

as mentioned before.
Grasping basic HTML should be quite easy with dreamweaver and photoshop.
go to Free Web Templates and download 1 or 2 free templates, and just customise it to how you want it, change the buttons in photo shop, change colours, boxes etc.
then search around the net for free java scripts and insert them as fun.
do this with a few websites and you should be up and running in no time.
