Does I-Tunes convert the vids to that format then? Or do I need another converter?

If anyone would like to suggest a good converter too that would be

Another converter.
http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/ does the trick nicely, but a wee warning, if you whack it on full quality the battery doesn't last too long when playing it.

Tried putting a .mov on it & it said it wouldn't play it

I think he means the dimensions of the video. Did it play in iTunes when you imported it? The iPod supports files upto 320x240.

i got black one. loads of vids like office series 1, simpsons etc on torrent.although make sure you own original video before downloading them
