i've got a block and head doing nothing in my garage
literally a bare block

bit far though, and would literally cost 3/4 of an arm and 1/3 or a leg to post

can send engines for 44 quid with DHL. You just pay for aa pallet and anythin that fits on is fine..
Know a lot of people that have done this.

for the record mate, x16xe heads are different to:

x14xe
c16xe
x16xel

also the blocks on the x16xel are sometimes different (shallower pocket in the piston)

just spoke to olly, should have it all sorted for next week hopefully will need to get lots of wee things tidyed up on the car and give it a good clean and polish in and out. Be back on the road ready for 2006
Need to ay off some bills then see about 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and getting it chipped, raised rev limit a little

well got a phone call today and the engine will be ready to be picked up on tuesday, hopefully for next day pallet delivery if i can find it at a decent price so i can have it in the garage and back before xmas. Then will have holidays to get it put back in once and for all

any help with pallet delivery appreciated

delivery organied should get it wednesday so fingers crossed garage can gat bits swapped over for friday. They are open between xmas and new year anyway so should have engine back in car by next week
