your all wrong
it's a common problem with the w800i mine had it and willays did.
check this:
http://www.esato.com/archive/t.php/t-109945
it's basically corrupted beyond repair, i've had a new one issued free of charge as had willay but it depends upon how long you've had it and your operator.

did you install all the drivers on the CD ?? if you missed one or two it might not recognise the phone as a removeable drive ??

mine recognised it first time and a few times after then it all of a sudden decided to go poop mid file transfer... now i just plug the Memory Card in via my media reader and don't involve the phone in anyway and it's fine

I think this may be user error. take a chill pill and try again in a bit. Make sure you remove the USB device from Windows before unplugging it to prevent bogus files appearing on the phone.

Its probably not broken
Try doing this
Turn phone off, plug in cable, phone turns on.
Start > My Computer > Choose removable disk (normally f or g)> & you can view files that way
One option is DCIM, other is MMESC or summat. Its in one of those
The software is handset manager. So its mainly for sync with PC etc
See if that works

I usually view files that way for the memory card matey, Im just pasting my MP3s into the folders that way instead of using the crap disc2phone thing
just sometimes its picking the drive up, sometimes it isnt. my mate says he has the same problems with his k750i sometimes
