iv handed them in a few days late quite a lot and they dnt seem to mind. aslong and u hand them in before they send of the summons ul be fine

I got a producer, kept trying my local station and it was never open (went about 6 or 7 times during the week and left a couple of notes through the letter box saying I had been with my number to ring to arrange going there).
They never rang so I never produced the documents. Never heard anything until about 5 months later when a summons landed on my floor, but that gave me another week to produce them. So took them to the main police station (about 30mins away) to make sure they got it this time.
The stupid woman who I produced them to forgot to send this little fact over to the court, so a couple of weeks later I got a letter saying I was being banned for not producing so was getting done for no license / insurance, etc. Luckily I found out the womans name and she confirmed it all with the court that I had produced and it was meant to be going back to court to get sorted and I would get a letter saying it had been sorted. That was nearly 3 yrs ago to the day and have heard nothing!!
