are the 8v pumps compatible with 16v blocks?
engine is being built at the mo and apparently it had a pump from an 8v on it when it went in.
the builder is having a nightmare with the pumps as part numbers and suppliers keep changing and he says he's been sent the wrong one several times.
he mentioned that some of them have an extra tensioner for the cam belt, but i''d never heard of that before.
any help/guidance pretty please?
