I used one off a 1.4 sport on my gsi and it was about 3 inches too short so the garage had to use a piece of tube to bridge the gap.
So i believe some are not the same size as others?

if you originally had a cat on the 14 sport the pipe may have been cut in the wrong place.

I think all Corsa cats are part of the downpipe, and can't be replaced individually. They bolt on at the back, but need cutting off at the front where it meets the downpipe.
If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

originally the cat and centre section would have all been in one section. if either had been replaced at any time, then they would have cut it. this is why some de-cats fit and some dont. depends if the person that cut the exhaust actually measured the correct distance from the end of the cat. this is why when you buy a new cat or centre section they usually come slightly oversized so that they can be cut down to fit.
