cos it was on throttle bodies running 140 bhp probably

it was 136bhp, without tb's


its not faster than the 1.6, just deliverd power in a diffrent way, and was more tricked up

the car as a 1.6 is better overall now

in std form there charactestics are similar if you think in terms of capacity to output, however once the engine has been modified (ie fitting an inlet manifold) the power delivery will differ, the std setup will be more drivable and return better fuel econmy.

If it were me unless Insurance is an issue I would even consider the 1.4
