My 1999 T reg 106 GTI is going to be available for sale in a week or so.
Booked in for a new clutch and release bearing next week + just had new rear brakes fitted.
Owned the car for about 2.5 years with no major problems. New parts include, radiator, clutch as mentioned, new front tyres also will come supplied with 2 spare brand new 195 40 16 pirelli's (i bought 4 but only needed 2 at the time), just put 6 months tax on it, MOT is Sep 06 I think.
Spec:
1999 106 1.6 16v GTI
74,000 ish (will update when I get home)

16inch 206 GTI nimrods with 195 40 pirelli tyres (almost new fronts and good rears) comes with 2 brand new spare 195 40 16 tyres
engine standard
Lowered 50mm
Grooved front brakes
Apline MP3 headunit
Allways had oil every 5k
Good overall condtion
Has the usual car parking dents (+ a few small hail stone pin dents) and stone chips which are to be expected but overall is in good conidtion. Just trying to be as honest as possible
Looking around some Gti's of the same age are asking 4k so I'm being realistic and pricing this at offers around £3250. If someone wants it without the clutch and bearing being done then I will reduce the price to £3000
Car is located in Warsop nr Mansfield, Notts but I am in Brighton at least once a month so can arrange viewings.

no you wouldnt! not from me anyway, I've reduced the price as low as I can and its cheap at that price. Theres a Nova for sale for over £2000 on here which is far from mint, you work it out
