since ive put my install in my battery keeps goin flat ova a few days.

i know i need to upgrade the battery and alternator but not 2 sure what to go for.

its a 43 Ah battery at teh mo wiv a 65amp alternator

Right,

1. Ditch the cap, pointless, do more harm than good.

2. is that ANL the first fuse in the wiring from the battery??? Because that is dangerous if it is, it should be at most 18" from the battery and be in the engine bay.

3. How old is your battery?

4. check your alternator, fanbelt etc. Test the voltages when the car is running and off(ignition on though).

1 should make a difference
2 is very essential

ive checked the voltage and the alternator is chargin at 13.5 volts its a brand new fan belt.

i got another fuse at the battery.

will disconnect the cap see what that does

the battery is 2 yrs old

the cap does seem to be the weak link. Have you done the big three? it might help.

if your running 0guage I would do the big three with 4guage (batt +ve to alt +ve, batt -ve to chassis and Alt -ve to chassis). Replace all these wires with 4guage and it will help.
