did you just line up the plates, weld them on and then you bolt the cage in?

how else do you think you do it?

The supplied plates needed altering... so that took a bit of time.

The front ones just needed welded in, but the mid ones need 3 holes for the nuts to sit in. The cage then bolts down onto the welded in plates/supports.

The cage also bolts/welds to the roof and top seatbelt mount either side at the front.

doors bars to be fitted too

small bits and bobs maybe... but door cards and leather seats have all gone.

Just been and got a 3ft x 4ft sheet of metal for the floor

fixed the hole in the floor now, welded in the last bracket, and painted.

Cage needs a few last coats of red before fitting

i'm off to get the trailor for the corsa now
