NOT Much of a budget... £350 to £400 mark...
mainly need good battery life (priority) but also a fairly good processor and graphics capabilities, as will be used for uni work...
Main things its going to be doing is compiling alot of C++ Code, and testing games (2d and 3d genre) as its what I do on my course (Games Tech)
Seen a few on eBay going cheap-ish, and some on misco.co.uk aswell...
any recomendations??
cheers

oh yeah... also needs Wi-Fi capabilities, and also CD Burning (DVD Burning pref, but not essential) plenty of storage (40Gb+) and 512Mb RAM or more... (unless price of laptop + upgrade parts works out cheaper...)

If you can stretch it to 470£
i recommend the ACER AS3003WLMI!
I'm planning to get this model very soon.
