Had one take a good mile or so to shut the fuck up this morning, gonna whip the oil out this weekend when i do the clutch, but are there any other solutions... how much do lifters normally sell for ????

it shut up after a quick stint at 6k rpm and the oil pressure is all spot on, ah bollocks... its probably just me being a tart

well do an oil change etc anyway give it a flush

the more you do it the quiter it shud be
my first 16v was noisy so i change the oil 1nce a month and it was fie
when i sold it i heard it a few months later and it sounded a wee bit ill

i actually asked an oil dude and i've had a different grade of oil recommended too 5w-40 runnier when cold apparently

just run 10w-40 semi change it otu and then if still bad next weekend too. then take it apart, it's a whole lot of hassle just for a tap though, not doign too much/any damage
