I know you can getr a wireless connection for the home which i'm looking into.
My question is, if i take my laptop away from home say on business etc and want to connect to the net is there a way of doing this?
Also if i take it to work with me?

a few ways you can do it can use your mobile phone as a modem to connect, using its gprs connection your mobile has to surrport this can be quite tricky to set up.
you can use a gprs data card, e.g from vodafone card plugs into the side of your laptop, very imple to use, can get one cheapish from vodafone store and it goes on a monthly contract.
or you can use the wi-fi in your laptop, but can only connect were some one is offering a wifi connection, e.g mcdonalds al already said.
