after my pc fooking up i needed to re install everything, so downloaded the sound card i needed
the sound card needs sp1 or sp2 before it can be installed, but sp2 cant be installed becuase my windows cd is not valid
how can i overcome this or will i have to source one?

You mean on the website, or the actual install contains the validation these days?

i tried downloading it from the website and wouldnt install because of validation...il try again using the link you provided

If you have an original dodgy windows cd theres quite a good chance the key is one of the ones that as soon as you install sp2 it won't let u login until you get a proper key.
