This Superchipped ECU came from a 1998 Corsa Sport (1.4 16v) but will work on any Corsa b or Astra MK3 with a 1.4 16v engine after 1997, engine code X14XE. It also comes with the Superchips customer key with the original igniton map stored on it.

With this ECU you could see engine performance increase upto 10bhp, on a standard engine increases of 5-6bhp are more likely. This re-mapped ECU will complement any other mods you may have done to your engine, including induction kits, performance inlet and exhaust manifolds and performance exhaust systems.

How is it done?

Superchips reprogramme your car's on-board computer to enhance performance.
For any particular car, Superchips can reprogramme the information held on the computer's chip to optimise and improve power output without compromising fuel economy. The technical stuff car manufacturer's call the on-board computer, or ECU. This monitors and controls ignition timing and the fueling across a range of driving conditions. The Superchip is programmed to adjust the timing and fuelling maps to optimise performance.

Required information- engine management system is 'Delco Multec F MPI' and the ECU code is BZKW 16214239. You can use this information to double check that it will work with your engine

x14xe's and x16xe's use different maps, so no it wont be ideal, although it will work.

does it come with the chip from the key and the transponder? without those its useless! from the code above, it will fit all x14xe looms from 97 onwards. Here is the exact ecu in fact:

Corsa 1.4 litre 16 Valve
97 on 2 Delco Multec F MPi
BZKW
16214239
XED6BZKW
