i have had the car for a coming up to a year now and just put car through mot so really need to think about selling it with full mot, just put 2 new tires on front thats all i needed to do for mot!!!!
here is the spec of the car:-
Astra Gsi Turbo 2.1 litre 16 valve. Original car was ’92 Gsi 16 valve with abs full electrics 86k in total, just 9k miles on C20LET engine. It’s had 3 previous owners
Chassis & Exterior:
-’92 Glacier white Gsi shell, in very good clean conditions for year!!
-New off side rear quarter, inner wing and near side repair panel fitted and painted in January ’05 ( Genuine Panels used ) little bubbles of rust coming on the near side but will sort that
-smoked side repeaters
-smoked headlights and indicators, clear ones on for now for mot
M5 wing mirrors
-De badged grille
-Big mouth front bumper mod
-De locked doors with cavalier rear handles
-Rolled rear arches
-Waxoiled
-Opel tailgate badge
-de badged for sleeper look
206 smooth rear wiper arm and blade
Engine:
-C20Let block, Built by Wallace Performance with new big end, little end bearings, oil seals…..etc ( V-Max block without the steel rods )
-Internail Oil Spray Bars
-Maul low compression oversized forged pistons
-Arp rod bolts
-Polished and de-seamed rods
-Lightened and balanced crank and flywheel
-Bailey Motorsport DV26 polished silver Dump valve
-New Genuine Oxy Sensor
-Front Mounted Mocal Oil Cooler
-Custom made coolant pipes, conectors and oil cooler pipes
-8 valve sump gasket modification
-New water pump, timing belt tensioners and rollers
-Coscast polished and ported head
-Polished and ported throttle body top hat
-New hydraulic lifters
-Wallace Performance uprated steel headgasket
-All GM gaskets and headbolts used on re-build
-Pipercross cone air filter
-New dizzy, crank sensor, blue top sensor…etc
-EDS phase 2 chips
-Courtneay uprated actuator
-New kkk16 turbo with uprated seals and wastegate
-Wallace performance front mounted intercooler
-Samco 5ply boost hoses in blue
-Mikalor hose clamps with custom made stainless steel hose joiners
-Custom made mandrel bent 2.5” exhaust system for turbo elbow back in stainless steel
-FSE power boost valve with white faced gauge
-Samco vacuum hoses in blue
uprated industion hose in blue silicone
-Denso iridium NGK spark plugs
-New genuine bosch plug leads
-Rocker and Timing belt cover finished in Glacier white, with polished stainless rocker bolts,
black turbo cover with white writing, also spark plug cover done to match
Transmission:
-F28 6 speed gear box fitted, converted to front wheel drive! Little knotchy in second and 3rd! been like that since I had car tho
-Wallce performance uprated clutch
Suspension:
-Gmax uprated gas dampers with 35mm lowering springs
-Lower arms have been polly bushed, rose jointed rear bushes
Brakes:
-Willwood Dynolite 4 pot front calipers ( Finished in white with black writing on )
-Hi-Spec Racing CNC’ed mounting brakets
-290mm Hi-Spec Racing Groved front discs
-Feredo pads fitted 1k miles ago
-Braided front brake flexi hoses
-GSi spec standard rear discs with GM pads ( Calipers finished in white )
Wheels and Tyres
-17” Mim wheels finished in gloss black
-205/40r17 tyres, good on back, NEW fronts
-Original GSi spare wheel in good condition
Interior:
-Original Gsi spec in MINT condition, with no wear on drivers seat bolster.
-160mph Calibra turbo clocks fitted with white dials
-Nomad white faced Boost gauge
-Nomad white faced oil pressure gauge
-Both above mounted on the ‘A’ pillar
-Calibra Turbo 6 speed leather gear knob
-Stealth shelf
-Lockwood sill plates

Rolling road on phase 2 chipc running 14psi of boost with a 16psi overboost at 282bhp.
its very fast car!!! engine is solid and never had prob!!!! have had so much fun in the car and gonna miss it so much but i need to sell dues ot having 5other cars and need some space back soon!!!!
looking for 4.5k for it really

there u go.......thats all the rust there is, only surface rust also just started to bubble if i give it good clean wud get rid of the brown! the car is in VERY good condition i think! looks stunning when all clean with the black and white contrast!!!

forgot to mention the sump gasket leaks!!!!! as normal on these engines i never got round to changing it i just keep topping it up with oil!! never smokes or burns any oil tho!!

It will have to say that its a turbo, how did it manage to pass the MOT??? was it the old paper MOT certs that you got???

could still pass eck as long as the emissions are fine on the turbo as they would be on the original XE engine.. could be an XE with a turbo bolted on for all the MOT tester knows

means fuk all what the log book says they dont ask for it at the mot station, they just test what engine is in the thing
